- Kings of Leon will be the first band to release an album as an NFT. Three tokens will drop as part of the series called "NFT Yourself"; one type is a special album package, second type offers live show perks like front-row seats for life, and a third type is just for exclusive audiovisual art. Link

- Due to the recent reduction in DEX and DeFi size, Ethereum gas fees have seen a 65% drop after hitting an all-time high. Link

- Just a day after launching on the Binance Smart Chain, DeFi project Meerkat Finance put out a message saying that hackers stole $31 million from the wallets. Some investors think Meerkat's developers made off with the cash as the project's Twitter and website have gone offline. Link

- AWS added support for Ethereum nodes to its Amazon Managed Blockchain services, making it much easier for developers to run Ethereum nodes. 19% of Ethereum nodes are run on AWS already, but this is the first time Amazon has provided its own Eth management option. Link

- Eco, a crypto cashback company, raised $26 million from investors like A16z Crypto, Coinbase, and Pantera. Eco offers 5% APY a year if you invite friends to join, as well as cashback from certain stores. It has a waitlist of 140,000. Link

- Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says the NBA team is now accepting Dogecoin (DOGE) as payment for game tickets and merchandise. Link

- Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey minted the first tweet ever posted on the social media platform on Ethereum-run service, Cent. The original tweet was published by Dorsey on March 21, 2006, and has already received a bid for $88,888 by a user called "@Crypto888crypto." Cent allows users to mint, sell and bid on NFTs of Tweets. Link

- Yearn Finance and Cover announced they were no longer merging. The price of Cover fell on the news. Link

- Chip manufacturing giant TSMC is reportedly limiting the supply of its chip provided to firms involved in crypto mining because their demand is subject to extreme swings. Bitmain was reportedly one of TSMC's main customers two years ago, but then cut its orders significantly when the crypto bear market came. Link

- DJ 3LAU sold off 33 NFTs for a total of $11.7 million in honor of the three-year anniversary of his Ultraviolet album. The most expensive NFT sold included a custom song, access to never-before-heard music on his website, custom art based on his music and new versions of Ultraviolet's 11 original songs. Link

- NBA unveiled its 2021 Rising Stars rosters on NFT marketplace NBA Top Shot. Instead of playing a basketball game this year, NBA Top Shot, NBA and the Players Association hand-picked 20 individual Moments from the 2020-2021 season to highlight. Some highlights have already been sold for $100,000 a piece. Link

- The NBA has established the "Blockchain Advisory Subcommittee" with members like Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Washington Wizards owner Ted Leonsis, and Brooklyn Nets owner Joseph Tsai. The group will determine how to leverage blockchain to benefit the NBA's business. Link

- BitGo received a license to crypto custodian in New York, one of the region's strictest regulators. The license allows institutional investors to hold and trade cryptocurrencies through the broker. Link

- Audius (AUDIO), a music-sharing and streaming protocol that facilitates transactions between creators and listeners, has 1.8 million active users and a total of 122 million AUDIO tokens staked on the network. Link

- PayPal plans to launch a business unit related to crypto. It has even been experimenting with different blockchains including Ethereum to help the payment company advance in transactions. Link

- Crypto.com launched a venture arm and has set aside $200 million to invest in new crypto startups. Investments will range from $100k to $10 million depending on the stage of the company. Link.
