OCTOBER

- Crypto exchange FTX files for bankruptcy after it was revealed the company was unable to meet $8 billion of customer redemptions. CEO SBF had reportedly "lent" customer deposits to its sister hedge fund Alameda Research after it had suffered significant trading losses. Customer deposits were transferred without user consent. DECEMBER
